The world keeps changing.
Every single day leaders are dealing with new problems to solve, decisions to make and individuals they need to engage and motivate to create positive results.
The Leading for Tomorrow programme supports and guides leaders where they need it most. It provides them with practical support to grow their confidence and capability to step out of the operational ‘doing’ and work on real life issues in a stretching and supportive environment with other housing professionals from across the UK.
Through a uniquely tailored programme that has been tried and tested, we have designed the content to develop the critical skills and behaviours that are needed right now.
The 9 month programme is delivered through a combination of learning methods supported by an online platform to help participants access what they need, when they need it. The programme includes group sessions to explore the content and one to one coaching where participants have the opportunity to explore their strengths and blind spots and how to apply these to support their leadership.
this programme different?
It provides exposure to other organisations, both from within and out of the sector, to bring in new and creative ideas. It brings together a network of leaders from organisations across the UK to collaborate, share their experiences and learn from each other, working together on a shared project to support the application of their learning and the housing sector.
At the same time, they build long lasting relationships that will continue, not just throughout the programme, but throughout their careers and beyond.
The programme is recommended by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and recognised for the
‘considerable benefits it provides to participants, their organisations and the opportunities for collaboration and change within the wider housing sector.’
Have learnt new tools and techniques they can apply back into their workplaces
Will be doing something differently as a result of the programme
Would recommend the programme to others
‘The great thing about the program is that it’s a safe space where you’re talking to people who have had similar experiences. Often you don’t think about what other people have experienced. It’s comforting to know others have been through that as well and you can draw on their experiences.’
